For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

Active Systems:
Tropical Storm Calvin, located more than 1000 miles east of Hilo, 
Hawaii, has crossed over into the Central Pacific basin. Future 
advisories on Calvin will be issued by the Central Pacific Hurricane 
Center.

1. South of Southwestern Mexico:
A broad area of low pressure could form well to the south or 
southwest of the coast of southwestern Mexico during the next few 
days. Development of this system, if any, appears unlikely as it 
moves generally west-northwestward over the central portion of the 
eastern Pacific basin. 
* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...near 0 percent.
* Formation chance through 7 days...low...10 percent.

issued by the Central Pacific Hurricane Center beginning at 500 am 
HST/1500 UTC Monday, under AWIPS header HFOTCPCP1 and WMO header 
WTPA31 PHFO. Products will continue to be available on the web at 
hurricanes.gov
