          NOVEMBER 15 2008 AND EXPERIMENTAL STORM SURGE 
          PROBABILISTIC GRIB2 FILES ON NOAAPORT 

CORRECTED SECOND PARAGRAPH: PRODUCTS WILL BE GENERATED WHEN 
HURRICANE WATCHES OR WARNINGS ARE IN EFFECT...NOT WHEN THE 
FORECAST CALLS FOR A HURRICANE TO MAKE LANDFALL WITHIN 24 HOURS 
OF LANDFALL.

BEGINNING JUNE 1 2008 AND CONTINUING THROUGH NOVEMBER 15 
2008...NWS IS SEEKING USER FEEDBACK ON EXPERIMENTAL PROBABILISTIC 
STORM SURGE PRODUCTS ASSOCIATED WITH HURRICANES. 

THESE EXPERIMENTAL PRODUCTS WILL BE GENERATED WHENEVER A 
HURRICANE WATCH OR WARNING IS IN EFFECT FOR ANY PORTION OF THE 
GULF OR ATLANTIC COASTS OF THE CONTINENTAL UNITED STATES. THE 
PRODUCTS WILL BE POSTED ONLINE AT: /USE LOWER CASE LETTERS/:

A COMPREHENSIVE DESCRIPTION AND STATIC EXAMPLES OF THE 
EXPERIMENTAL PRODUCTS ARE POSTED AT THE ABOVE WEB SITE. GRIB2 
FILES WILL CONTINUE TO BE AVAILABLE AT THIS WEB SITE BY CLICKING 
ON THE DOWNLOAD TAB.
